Mongolia has 469 citizens in the Middle East. Of these, 321 are permanent residents, while 148 temporary visitors have expressed a desire to return to their homeland. Another 20 permanent residents have expressed the same desire.
There are some obstacles in repatriating citizens due to the closure of airspace in some countries and the lack of international flights. Because of this, the Mongolian government is exploring possible approaches and coordinating with relevant companies.
