The next highlight is Dariganga, Sukhbaatar Province, home to a unique community known for its traditional metal and silver craftsmanship. You will meet local craftsmen and discover exquisite handmade silverware, as well as ancient stone statues that reflect the aesthetic values of Mongolia’s nomadic culture.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
After arriving in Ulaanbaatar and settling into your hotel, we will begin a city tour showcasing the capital’s history, culture, religion, and modern development.
At the beginning of the tour, we will visit Gandantegchinlen Monastery, the center of Mongolian Buddhism. Here, travelers can observe Buddhist rituals performed by monks and worshippers, admire the 26-meter-high Megjid Janraisig Buddha statue, and explore the unique architecture of the monastery complex.
Next, we will visit the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, where the history of the Mongol Empire and modern Mongolia is presented through advanced technology. The museum showcases valuable artifacts and exhibits covering Mongolian history from the Xiongnu Empire period to the present day.
Afterward, we will visit Sükhbaatar Square, the political and historical center of Mongolia. The square is home to the Government Palace and the statue of Chinggis Khaan, making it one of the most important landmarks in the capital city.
Leaving Ulaanbaatar, we will travel to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, one of the closest and most beautiful natural destinations near the capital.
Here, you will explore breathtaking landscapes featuring mountain formations, forested hills, alpine meadows covered with wildflowers, and clear mountain streams. Travelers can enjoy walking along peaceful rivers and discovering the natural beauty of the area.
We will hike to the Aryabal Meditation Temple, where a panoramic view of the famous Turtle Rock can be enjoyed from the mountain top.
If desired, you can also experience horseback riding and discover the harmony between Mongolia’s nomadic culture and natural landscapes more closely.
Upon arrival at Gun Galuut Nature Reserve, we will set up camp.
The first part of the journey begins with a walk along the green terraces beside the Kherlen River, enjoying the peaceful beauty of nature.
We will visit a local nomadic family, where you can learn about the structure of a traditional Mongolian ger, observe the process of making dairy products, and experience authentic rural life.
If desired, you can ride horses across the open steppe.
Relax by the riverside while fishing, watching the sunset, or simply listening to the sounds of nature to refresh your mind and body.
Today, we will explore the heart of Gun Galuut Nature Reserve, visiting Ikh Gun and Baga Gun Lakes and enjoying a bird-watching experience.
This area is home to more than 100 species of birds, including rare and endangered species such as the White-naped Crane, Red-crowned Crane, and Whooper Swan. Visitors will have the opportunity to observe these magnificent birds in their natural habitat.
We will then hike to Bayaan Mountain, which is one of the main habitats of the globally endangered Argali wild sheep. With binoculars, we will search along the mountain slopes and ridges for the chance to observe wild sheep roaming freely in nature.
After reaching a viewpoint overlooking the entire Gun Galuut Valley, we will share our travel impressions while enjoying the spectacular scenery.
After dinner, we will gather around a campfire under the starry sky, listening to stories and legends of the nomadic people before ending the day.
We will continue our journey toward Khentii Province, the birthplace of Chinggis Khaan.
Here, we will visit the Chinggis Khaan Monument and explore valuable historical and archaeological sites dedicated to the great leader.
Travelers will discover historical landmarks, remains of ancient settlements, and possible locations associated with the winter palace of the Great Khan.
During the journey, you will also have the opportunity to listen to stories about Chinggis Khaan’s life, legendary battles, and the history of the Mongol Empire.
The journey continues to Chinggis City, the administrative center of Khentii Province.
After arriving in the city, we will visit the local museum, which introduces the history, culture, and valuable heritage of the region. Visitors will learn about the traditional lifestyle of the Khentii people and explore interesting historical exhibits.
Today, our journey continues across the vast Mongolian steppe, traveling through endless grasslands by vehicle.
Along the way, you will observe the changing landscapes of the steppe and have opportunities to meet local families with unique lifestyles. The people of this region have distinctive cultural traditions and ways of life that differ from other parts of Mongolia.
We will continue our journey to the “Khurgiin Valley” (Valley of Stone Men), where we will explore ancient human stone statues carved from white marble and granite.
These monuments are remarkable for their detailed representations of medieval aristocrats, including their clothing, accessories, and sitting postures.
We will meet with local elders and historians to listen to legends about Shiliin Bogd Mountain and the heroic figures known as “Sain Ers” (Brave Men).
You will also hear stories about legendary heroes such as Toroi Bandi and learn about the places where these historical figures once lived and traveled.
Later, we will visit the shore of Ganga Lake to enjoy a beautiful sunset. If you travel during autumn (September–October), you may have the rare opportunity to witness thousands of swans gathering at the lake.
Afterward, we will enjoy dinner and share impressions of the unique nature, history, and culture of the Dariganga region.
Leaving Dariganga, we will travel toward Baruun-Urt City, the capital of Sükhbaatar Province.
Along the way, there is a chance to observe large herds of Mongolian gazelles roaming across the steppe.
We will have lunch in Baruun-Urt City and briefly visit the central square and local museum to gain insight into the culture of eastern Mongolia.
Afterward, we will continue our journey along paved roads toward Khentii or Töv Province.
We will spend the night at a comfortable hotel or tourist camp along the route. In the evening, travelers can review the photos and videos taken during the journey and enjoy a warm and relaxing atmosphere together.
After breakfast, we will begin our final journey back toward Ulaanbaatar.
Along the way, we will pass by important landmarks such as the Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue (Tsonjin Boldog). If desired, travelers can stop briefly to take photos and enjoy the view.
Upon arrival in the city, travelers will have the opportunity to enjoy a meal of their choice. After spending many days traveling through the countryside and wilderness, the atmosphere, culture, and lively energy of the capital will provide a unique experience.
We will transfer to the pre-arranged hotel, where you can enjoy a hot shower and rest.
In the evening, we will have a farewell dinner with the travel team and share unforgettable memories and experiences from the journey, officially bringing the adventure to an end.
We will visit the Bogd Khan Palace Museum, the former residence of Mongolia’s last king, and explore its unique architecture and historical exhibits. Today, the palace operates as a museum preserving valuable aspects of Mongolia’s history and culture.
We will also visit Zaisan Hill, one of the best viewpoints in Ulaanbaatar, offering a panoramic view of the entire city.
At the end of the tour, you will have the opportunity to purchase Mongolian cashmere products and traditional souvenirs if desired.
After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and prepare your luggage, souvenirs, and precious memories collected throughout the journey.
We will provide comfortable transportation and transfer you to the airport at the scheduled time.
