Khusliin Khad Complex

According to local tradition, visitors offer a small portion of food or drink to nature, gently touch their forehead to the rock, and quietly whisper their wishes. This ritual is believed to cleanse the mind, bring inner peace, and inspire hope. In both shamanic and Buddhist traditions, the Wishing Rock is considered a sacred place where powerful natural energy has accumulated over generations.

The rock extends toward the lake, providing one of the finest viewpoints in the area. From here, visitors can admire the vast blue waters of "Mother Lake" Khovsgol and enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks of the Sayan Mountains on the distant horizon. Local Customs:

As this is a sacred site, visitors are encouraged to behave respectfully by avoiding excessive alcohol consumption, leaving no litter, and treating the surrounding environment with care. When offering a khadag (traditional ceremonial silk scarf) at the ovoo or the rock, tie it gently without damaging trees or the natural landscape, helping preserve this spiritual place for future generations.
