Pine Forest Park

The park is located approximately 14 km northwest of the center of Binder Soum. Its entrance has been designed in a style similar to that of many international national parks, welcoming visitors with an attractive gateway and a distinctive wooden obstacle featuring five circular openings marked with the numbers 20, 30, 40, and 50, adding a unique recreational element to the entrance area.

Inside the park, visitors will find sculptures of native wildlife, including wild boars, wolves, deer, and roe deer, as well as birdhouses, picnic tables, benches, and several walking trails that allow guests to explore the forest at their own pace. An information board displays the names and record times of two individuals who completed the park's 1,160-meter trail in the fastest time, adding a fun and interactive feature for visitors.

Since 2016, the park has undergone continuous expansion and improvement with the support of local residents and organizations. The forest also plays an important environmental role: a single pine tree absorbs approximately 6 kilograms of carbon dioxide each year, and studies have shown that walking through the pine forest for one hour allows a person to breathe approximately 2.6 cubic meters of exceptionally clean air, making the park an excellent destination for relaxation and wellness.

Photography

The best time for photography is early in the morning or during sunset, when sunlight filters through the tall pine trees, creating beautiful beams of light and a magical forest atmosphere.

Hiking

When exploring the forest, it is recommended to stay on the designated walking trails to avoid getting lost. As the park is located within the taiga zone, visitors should also prepare for ticks and mosquitoes by wearing appropriate clothing and using insect repellent.

Protecting Nature

Pine forests are highly vulnerable to wildfires. Visitors should never light open fires and should strictly follow all fire safety regulations to help protect this valuable natural environment.

After visiting the park, consider stopping at one of the nearby resorts or guest camps in Batshireet Soum. While there, be sure to sample the area's famous dairy products, especially the locally produced Batshireet cream, which is well known for its rich flavor and high quality.
